Clinical Hypnosis is a safe and highly effective therapy that is used to successfully treat many conditions.  The changes can be very quick normally over a few sessions, and can be very effective in resolving your difficulties to enable you to have more control over your health and wellbeing and take better control of your life.  If you imagine the mind like an iceberg, up to 90% of our everyday behaviours, feelings and beliefs are driven by the unconscious (or subconscious, meaning we are not consciously aware of it).  This is why it can be so difficult to change unhelpful thoughts, habits or behaviours by conscious will alone, as often the other 90% is running a different script!  Our mind has learned a script and is projecting the images all the time…but we can change this! 


Our unconscious only ever seeks to help us and enhance our health and well-being, however, it can often be running a script (or pattern) from past learning and experience that can undermine or stop us from fully achieving what we truly want now.  So Hypnosis is a therapy tool that facilitates an unconscious relearning process.

Hypnosis is effectively an altered state of consciousness.   In this wonderfully and deeply relaxed state you are then able to harness your own inner resources to enable you to then make the changes needed to improve your life.


Will you control my mind?
Absolutely not! This is a common misperception about Hypnotherapy.  Unfortunately stage Hypnotists have created a fear among the general public that Hypnotherapy can control you and make you do things against your will……it can’t!   You will be in control throughout each session and can end the session at any point if you want.  You will maintain a sense of awareness throughout.
